One of the greatest challenges today, I call the "great divide", which exists between those that write the code and those whom are in front of the customer. When I had started in the technology industry, we could position the products that we sell, but today, we are selling a vision, not a feature or a product. Technology has pulled away and with the constant push on sales to close business "today", many have lost sight of "tomorrow". It is with focus and prioritization that this gap can be mended for some, but for others, we will sadly see great relationship sales personalities phase away, as the final strand snaps...
